About Us
Our Community
Grand Union Pets is located in West London, in the restful and leafy neighbourhood of Maida Vale, diagonally opposite The Chippenham Pub on Shirland Road. We are just a bone’s throw from the green open spaces and doggie playgrounds of Paddington Recreation Grounds. Parking is convenient and we are outside the congestion zone. We are ideally located to serve the communities of Maida Vale, Warwick Avenue, Little Venice, St. John’s Wood, Swiss Cottage, Belsize Park and South Hampstead, Notting Hill, Holland Park, the Kensals, and Queen’s Park.
Our Story
All of us at Grand Union Pets live locally and have dogs and cats at home. Our original shop was located along the Grand Union Canal in West London – hence the name. But our store and grooming salon just wasn’t big enough for the community and friends we’ve made. Therefore we re-located to Maida Vale, with its wide tree-lined boulevards and charming historical homes. Our aim is to promote healthy and happy living for pet and owner, so we hope you - and your pet - approve of the new boutique and holistic grooming salon. Your feedback and suggestions are welcome and important.
When you visit the shop you are most likely to meet Sarah, Martin or Pippa, and of course loyal helpers Trigger and Bebe the beagles. Zuzana our groomer is City & Guilds Qualified and a trained veterinary nurse.
